Just know that the step where the rice is sopose to turn “bright white” it will actually turn “bright orange”. I printed it out before and then lost it. I used my own chicken broth that i save in freezer in ice cube form. I cooked it for 20 min and then ended up adding water and cooking for another 25 min. , I add saute’d onions and toasted sliced Almonds . Thank you! I would like to try this recipe, for Easter. In a large skillet set over medium-low heat, add the olive oil. Can I use Jasmine Rice (not long grain)? Cous cous would get mushy with that amount of time. It’s our favorite rice recipe! It’s life changing! You could easily skip it and just add an extra tablespoon of rice. ?
